  • 2018: In 2018, WBHO expanded its footprint in the UK into the northern regions through the acquisition of a majority shareholding in Russell Construction.
  • 2019: Recognised as the Most Empowered Company on the JSE, reflecting its commitment to transformation and empowerment.

Current Projects and Developments

WBHO continues to lead with groundbreaking projects that showcase its expertise and adaptability:

  • Renewable Energy Initiatives: Demonstrating a commitment to sustainable development, WBHO has undertaken significant renewable energy projects. Notably, the Merak 2 & 3 Solar projects have capacities of 126 MW and 130 MW, respectively.  Whilst the Karusa & Soetwater Wind projects, each generating 147MW, highlight WBHO’s role in advancing green energy solutions.
  • Steyn City Centre: This ambitious residential development spans 73,200 square meters and comprises 452 luxury units, including penthouses with rooftop pools and landscaped courtyards. The project exemplifies WBHO’s capability in delivering high-end residential spaces that blend luxury with functionality.
  • Biomedical Research Institution: In the healthcare sector, WBHO is constructing a state-of-the-art biomedical research facility, underscoring its versatility and commitment to advancing scientific infrastructure.

Under the stewardship of the CEO was Wolfgang Neff. He joined WBHO as a site agent in 1997. WBHO has reinforced its strategic direction and operational excellence.
